GTS is organising a technology seminar on "Application potential of
thermal spraying as a substitute for functional chromium coating" from
10 to 11 May 2023.
The processes of thermal spraying, in combination with suitable
post-processing, already represent an important alternative for
functional chromium coating for selected applications. In the technology
seminar, the process will first be presented in detail, with a visit to
the Linde Technology Center providing a practical impression.
Based on this, current developments and application potentials will be
discussed using concrete practical examples. Finally, joint development
measures will be discussed in order to further open up the application
potential of thermal spraying as a hard chrome substitute.
The seminar with a total of 11 lectures will be held in German.
